Making ravioli during a cooking class in Italy

Whenever someone asks me what I had for dinner, I almost wish for their sake that they didn’t. The level of detail I could go into when reminiscing over a special meal would likely make them regret their question. But it wasn’t always like this for me. It was only after university that I discovered my passion for food. Once I moved out of my parents home, I realized that maybe cooking wasn’t as much as a chore as I had always thought it was. I noticed that I garnered joy from feeding or eating with others much more than when I was eating on my own.

As much as I love food, I also struggle with it. Do I always have to eat unprocessed, natural, whole foods? If I bake a cake, it’s probably somewhat healthier than the store-bought kind, right? Is it possible that I’m eating too many veggies? Is it better to eat my broccoli steamed or boiled?

Sigh.

My goal is to ignore the questions that tend to pop up in my head when I’m deciding whether to make something or not, and instead, to just go for it. I will be sharing recipes of all kinds that peak my interest and I hope to inspire you to do the same!
